A Rant:

Children separated from their families and placed in detention centers, which seems to be a polished name for cages.

This is not a party issue, this is simply a humanitarian issue. No one should have their children stripped away from them. The reasoning for this policy is faulty as it does not seem logical to separate

those who speak of it have little to no interaction with immigrants

Leaving is not so simple. Many believe, from their comfortable homes, that leaving family and all you ever known behind is easy, but it is one of the hardest things to do. Most do it just because they are so desperate that they think the risk is worth it. However they are being met with a harsh reality and that is that what they think would be a chance of freedom and peace turns out to be a nightmare. In which children are robbed away from their parents.

Children have to face trials on their own.

Children have been misplaced and saying that is truly mortifying because how can children be misplaced.

The horror parents go through because they have no idea where their children are.

The United States of America, land of the free, is showing it’s true colors.

Understanding is important in trying to solve problems and many do not even want to try to understand each other’s viewpoints to come to an agreement. Migration should be regulated but not by stripping away children from their parents and certainly not being placing fear into the public by comparing immigrants to M-13 and calling them animals.

There are those who are in high power who do not think their words have direct effect but there have been people all over the country taking these comparisons literally and believing that immigrants are animals.

Yet, on a brighter side, people from all races and locations, came together to rally to keep families together. Maybe the only good thing we get from these disasters is that we can come together within communities even if our ideas aren’t the same, but knowing what is wrong from what is right. Separating good families is never alright.
